ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
The Marx Sisters (Helen Hayes Award Nominated Mary Myers and her director, Angela Kay Pirko) have a dream. After Marx in Soho's critically acclaimed run in 2017, neither wanted to see the production shelved. So they put their heads together and asked: where would they take this production, if they could share it with anyone else in the world?
And the answer came: the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A chance to share a piece that is at once international and deeply American on a world stage, to share the art of DC with the thousands of theatre-lovers who flock to Edinburgh each summer to experience shows from around the globe of every different variety.
We want to take Marx to Edinburgh. We think he'd like it there. And we think this piece is, if anything, more relevant than ever. The revolution is in us, if we make it so.
